  2. redux's rating of the film Liza the Fox-Fairy

Colourful, derivative garbage – a prime example of how a formerly great national cinematography has lost all touch with reality.

  3. Paolo Simeone's rating of the film Liza the Fox-Fairy

Surprising. Another black comedy from the east. The mixture with japanese elements works in such a pop context and could serve as lesson to a legion of fanboys.

  4. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film Liza the Fox-Fairy

This utterly kinky pastiche, directed and co-written by debutant Karoly Meszaros, is narrated in a complacent manner and moves swiftly, carrying out vivid tones while branding influences of Jean-Pierre Jeunet, as well as the archetypal Asian comedies.

  6. El Biffo's rating of the film Liza the Fox-Fairy

"When a fox is fifty years old, it can transform itself into a woman; when a hundred years old, it becomes a beautiful female.. Such beings are able to know things at more than a thousand miles' distance; they can poison men by sorcery, or possess and bewilder them, so that they lose their memory and knowledge; and when a fox is thousand years old, it ascends to heaven and becomes a celestial fox." 7. Post Ironic's rating of the film Liza the Fox-Fairy

One of my favourites of 2015. A beautiful grotesquely comic fairytale. Has a Jean-Pierre Jeunet/Wes Anderson vibe to it, but darker, and a little more fulfilling in my opinion. An adorably morbid film with an excellent soundtrack.
