When Logan was released, I didn't bother to go see it. I had seen so many Marvel flicks and they were all similarly formulaic, unsurprising and over-stuffed with special effects. But I was intrigued by Logan Noir. The B&W photography brought a whole new dimension to the film. No longer a super hero movie, but a haunting western about the twilight of a man - and of a whole era. Jackman, Stewart and Keen are superb.
