Our take

The multitalented Julie Delpy brings her signature brand of offbeat humour to this delightfully acerbic comedy of oedipal influence. Balancing multiple points of tension with charming ease, Delpy’s direction brings the worst out of her characters but happily revels in the chaos that ensues.
