Ratings & Reviews

  1. matelot's rating of the film Love Letters

  2. Daniel S.'s rating of the film Love Letters

William Dieterle was one of the truly original directors in Hollywood and, unfortunately, one of the most forgotten nowadays. Dieterle's cinema is lyrical and, above all, psychoanalytical. The last part of 'Love Letters' is a pure jewel. Highly recommended.

  3. Balthaz21's rating of the film Love Letters

  4. SpacePirate's rating of the film Love Letters

Solid Cotten-Jones vehicle. Not quite Portrait of Jennie, this one gets by on its intriguing storyline and tight script. 3.5 stars

  5. João Eça's rating of the film Love Letters

Dieterle was indeed a great filmmaker. It's a pitty he is so forgotten.

  6. Howard Fritzson's rating of the film Love Letters

Over the top dialogue and premise, but fun to watch. Ayn Rand wrote the script. Listen for the last line. It's a beaut!
