    This movie should have made Blythe Danner a movie star. She is extraordinary in this film. The synopsis description of her as "overly mannered" is bull... I think she is greater that Meryl Streep.

    A forgotten and rare Lumet movie shot between Serpico and Murder in the Orient Express. I was disappointed by this film that's not satisfying, emotionally and formally speaking. Anthony Perkins' performance is intense and Blythe Danner is pretty but that's not enough. This Jules and Jim story in Texas is already forgotten,
