6/10. Social realism from the high-rise apartment blocks east of Berlin Alexanderplatz, focusing on a transitional phase in the life of a teenage mum. Very sober, austere style. The performances are much better than in "Klassenfahrt". So is the editing. I really respect Winckler's calm portrayal of youths, even when they're in conflict. So many other directors portray them only as asocial jerks, mobbers, and creeps.
