Synopsis

An aquamarine gemstone, the Mermaid’s Scale, appears in a secret, underground auction. Lupin is coerced by the gem’s owner to steal it. He quickly discovers that the stone is a forgery and the real Mermaid’s Scale is part of an unsolved riddle that leads to transcending mortality.
