Synopsis
A drunk man annoys several hotel guests while sitting in the lobby. As he is trying to find his room, he runs into Mabel, who accidentally locks herself out of her room, only wearing pajamas. Feeling embarrassed, she rushes into her neighbors’ room and crawls under the bed to hide.

In twelve rollicking minutes, actor and director Mabel Normand captures the bothersome state of being a woman who is constantly chased by men—boors and drunks, the lot of them! Charlie Chaplin stars as an inebriated, graceless admirer stumbling about the place in one of his first turns as The Tramp.
