dionysus67's rating of the film Maître Galip

Not the most beautiful film in the series, yet one that makes great use of the poet's verses and one that revisits the themes of the previous films, this time though with greater emphasis on class issues. Unemployment takes the front stage but is free of manipulative depictions and the medium shots of poor children in the city's neighborhoods as opposed to the rich boys' party sequence are telling and never mawkish.
