Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Man on the Train

Une évidente et sympathique complicité entre les deux acteurs, pour une oeuvre bien réalisée, bien interprétée, mais finalement plutôt sans réelle nécessité... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Sthirabandhu's rating of the film Man on the Train

saw this when it did the cinema circuit, like a fine wine it has aged well, a superb tale of male friendship and how it emerges and forms in the most unlikely situations, sublime soundtrack with a suitably low toned cinematography.

  3. Michael's rating of the film Man on the Train

Unremarkable, save for Rochefort's charming performance.

  4. dialupmodem's rating of the film Man on the Train

  5. raggiodisole's rating of the film Man on the Train

super smooth, faultless execution, almost Shakespearean in the plot arc. Highly likeable

  6. kenneth allinson's rating of the film Man on the Train

Rather good. Brings a smile to one's face, with an inevitable ending for our hero that suddenly takes off into some forever ambiguous attempt at memorable meaningfulness and utterly fails. Enjoy it, but switch off the last few minutes!

  7. Jerome Eteve's rating of the film Man on the Train

Yeah, alright. If you happen to be french, you'll find the dialogs to be embarrasingly embarrassing. If you just read the subtitles, you might get over it. Far from being the best Patrice Leconte.

  8. sebastianbarronmubi's rating of the film Man on the Train

The idea behind the characters coming together sounds promising but the film doesn't work. Bad execution of a potentially great story.

  9. Nick Benson's rating of the film Man on the Train

Same premise as Girl on the Bridge and Intimate Strangers, but without the poetic quirks of the first or the depth and general brilliance of the second. Still want to see more Leconte, but this wasn't engaging or consistent enough, despite some nicely observed moments and dialogue.
