What are people saying?

  • ZYNAB's rating of the film Manhandled

dan duryea, dorothy lamour AND sterling hayden? with a cast like this, i was kind of shocked at how mediocre this was...the main problem is that convoluted script is more about meaningless threads of who-was-where-doing-what-and-when, than about real people and their dark desires, which is a big part of what makes film noir great. it's not shot that interestingly either. i urge everyone to give this a big pass!!

  • Wee Hunk's rating of the film Manhandled

This one has two of the great actors of film noir, Dan Duryea and Sterling Hayden. The plot is a bit absurd at times, and the dialogue can get a little overheated: "Nothing matters anymore. The time has come when words have no meaning. When only what one feels is important. I'm going to kill you Ruth." It's a comedy / romance / thriller and very enjoyable.
