Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Mannequin

Premier film, catégorique rature qui pêche sur tous les plans, prise de vue, romanesque, personnages...

  2. HKFanatic's rating of the film Mannequin

Andrew McCarthy goes to great lengths to make his character - a lonely misfit from Ohio who falls in love with his own sculpted mannequin - about as non-pervy and sweet as one possibly could, and Kim Cattral is of course perfectly cast. But I'm in the minority of viewers who prefer the lighter and more frothy sequel to the original - even if it does have a vintage synth soundtrack and an English bulldog named Rambo.

  3. Antoine Tremblay's rating of the film Mannequin

Nostalgia asides, this is a complete waste of time. But I live for nostalgia. Fantastic in every possible way. Goofy, over the top, 80s cheap synth pop clichés, the cop from Police Academy, 80s Kim Cattrall, a perfect time killer for a rainy day.

  4. Junda Mane's rating of the film Mannequin

Caught this on late night TV earlier this week, it's still solid goofy fun

  5. ΞRIC B∆Ɖ TASTΞ's rating of the film Mannequin

hm, way too much slapstick... but the music was okey.

  6. cammy's rating of the film Mannequin

I riffed this even before I discovered MST3k.

  7. redunbeck's rating of the film Mannequin

Preposterous, goofy, and terrible in almost every way...and yet utterly watchable and irresistibly sweet. So bad it's good and so cute it's endearing. Flaws be damned, I can't deny loving this awful mess.
