3,5 As in a sort of darkened room selenotropism, dreams grow encouraged by the silver screen while radio waves carry a greenhouse in which remontant roses bloom up to twenty times a day... "Me by Day" progressively awakes from cinema's deceptions, but so that in the end it purposefully looks like an imperfect Droste effect picture: steering from fluff enough to hold a dose of realism, but echoing originating visions.
Delightful and adorable. When the film started off with her singing while gargling, I knew it would be good! It's also very meta; they are watching a film and going to the cinema and cinema influences the lives of the characters - a treat for those of us who are conscious of how much we love films while we are watching them. 4.3
