Mexico: The Frozen Revolution

México, la revolución congelada

Directed by Raymundo Gleyzer
Argentina, 1971

A sociopolitical analysis of the betrayal of the 1910 Mexican Revolution. The director uses rare newsreel footage of Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata in conjunction with footage of the Tlatelolco massacre at the 1968 Olympic Games to comment on the failure of revolution in his own time.
