Pobrecita Midori. Watched in 2013, when I was a fledgling dilettante for the most decrepit convergences of sex and violence. The animation presented some of the most lividly delicious images I have indulged in, and the persistent hope of the girl locked in an inconceivable nightmare of life despite recursive torture engulfed me in the moment of viewing.
A surrealist trip into the all so real existence of the twisted, tormented, deformed, depraved and exiled. The freak show, the worst places to end up in while believing that the world is all kind and helpful. The bare and helpless youth gradually wrecked by the most despicable and grotesque characters, even though hope still lingers. The scenario is kind of bland, but the gorish, gruesome violent imagery compensates.
