  1. Cinema Omnivore's rating of the film Mirage

    7.3/10, my review: http://wp.me/p1eXom-37E

  2. Terry_Moby's rating of the film Mirage

3.8 Man, I like the Sixties! Everything - and everyone - was stylish somehow. This is a fine example. The first minutes of this Twilight Zone - inspired thriller are particularly hip: power failure in a New York high-rise building and just about everyone is very coolly wisecracking about the situation. As for the rest: Peck, Matthau, McCarthy - all fine. If only the solution would be a bit smarter. Still, a good one.

  3. Timikey Bones's rating of the film Mirage

A hidden treasure of a movie. Kinda like THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE meets THE GAME. Walter Matthau is incredible in it!

  4. Nancarrow's rating of the film Mirage

This odd high-flying diddy makes the softest of landings yet this is sure to be kind on return trips.

  5. AKFilmFan's rating of the film Mirage

A solid Hitchcockian thriller that keeps you guessing until the underwhelming ending. Matthau steal the show though!

  6. Stu Witmer's rating of the film Mirage

This compelling, oh-so-60's, drama has excellent dialog, directing, cinematography and locations. The fine cast includes Gregory Peck, Diane Baker (doing much better than usual) and Walter Matthau. In supporting roles Kevin McCarthy, Jack Weston, Leif Erickson, George Kennedy and Robert H. Harris do some of their best work. Quincy Jones's music fits like a glove. Good, judicious use of flashbacks.
