Collects dust like everyday ordinary is somehow interesting when black comedy means dimly lit and gloomily delivered. Perhaps most troubling is the filmmakers choice to make ridiculous matter above all else effectively robbing the characters and their world carelessly of the only thing that is going to keep us invested. Visually appealing proves yet again a film cannot live on the bread and water of style alone.
