Hervé Guibert depicts the last moments of his life using images of himself as a patient with AIDS daily. The sequences are shot in his apartment, with his great-aunts, atthe hospital and in Elba’s island.

A film made in the strongest period of mortality caused by AIDS that, along with "Silverlake Life", became one of cinema's key documents about that time and its political and social events. Consisting of a personal testimony of a victim, as still living and already a ghost, it's an essay that is a larger-than-life state of consciousness, on its way to an(other) existence that through film finds (its) death.
