Very groovy style, but it plays like a hipster newsreel that goes on too long. Only 22 minutes, but it barely held my attention after 4. Some historical significance, I suppose. "Free Cinema", they call it, like "Free Jazz". I'm glad I saw it for free and didn't have to pay for it. Made in 1955, this is on YouTube today, which is where it belongs. A first work by Richardson, who went on to make some very fine films.
