It's embarrassing how long I've been stoked about this film, and to see it live up to my expectations is great. A different take on the "man and beast" genre that's both fun-loving, high-energy, and not insultingly stupid in its script. The perfect example of the kind of family-friendly film that got lost somewhere along the way and will prove its bygone nature by the time the box office receipts are totaled.
After watching Monster Trucks, I feel like I ascended to a higher plane of existence. I cannot remember anything from the actual movie as I passed out five minutes in and woke up during the end credits covered in my own vomit. I could not recommend more.
