Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Moulin Rouge

Film presque oublié du grand John Huston... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Howard Fritzson's rating of the film Moulin Rouge

Forgive me but I think that this movie is crap. With the exception of Katherine Kath as La Goulue, every major player fails. I can see how Bob Fosse was influenced by the staging of the Can Can. I love the George Auric score. I think Oswald Morris's cinematography is remarkable. All of it is trappings. All decoration around a corpse.

  3. Edna Sweetlove's rating of the film Moulin Rouge

  4. Daniel S.'s rating of the film Moulin Rouge

Four Academy awards and Silver Lion in Venice. For once, Temple peddlers and critics agreed. Moulin Rouge is the kind of film you always postpone to watch. A biopic, 1952, Zsa-Zsa Gabor, a painter, a British production with a lot of French actors: not the sexiest proposal on earth, isn't it? How wrong you are , people! Moulin Rouge is a masterpiece. Signed La Goulue.

  5. Murat Erdem's rating of the film Moulin Rouge

  7. Jack Lineman's rating of the film Moulin Rouge

it just looks so beautiful, every single shot of it. It was magnifcently directed but not with the greatest screenplay but with a wonderful ending.
