  1. Kamran's rating of the film Mundane History

Charting how a single thought, or the birth of a thought, may draw a link with the infinite, Suwichakornpong consolidates notions between the micro and macro, the finite and infinite, and the inseparability among. Her psychedelic world holds meaning within and of itself; the death of a star is as meaningless as the birth of a child and the the birth of a child is as meaningful as the death of a star. 95/100 - Amazing

It is always pleasantly surprising when you expect nothing, but then you receive something that connects with your soul.

  3. CarlosEsquives's rating of the film Mundane History

  5. Slow Immersion [Joe]'s rating of the film Mundane History

Probably the most underrated film I love, and I don't think anything Apitchapong made comes remotely close. Ostensibly a minimal and contemplative mood/existential piece about living with a disability, whether it being a mental or physical one; but on a deeper level a unique hallucinogenic passage about our total (in)significance in this universe. A wonder thematically, visually, formally, aurally, and spiritually.

  7. Renton47's rating of the film Mundane History

The history of humanity is one of mundanity but that does not mean our own singular history is not precious to us. The whole can never be the part and vice versa. Does our minisculeness give our tragedies greater or less significance? Knowing how small it all is. But at the same time impossibly large. Maybe all we have is to ask each other deep questions that speak to our core and make art as meaningful as this.

  8. saitosouta's rating of the film Mundane History

This movie is Miracle. Anocha Suwichakornpong is Miracle.

  9. ricardoetatto's rating of the film Mundane History

  10. V Daniel López's rating of the film Mundane History

  11. joanra's rating of the film Mundane History

  12. Michael Garmonsway's rating of the film Mundane History

brilliant. The film silently builds to it's climax and while I found myself at first wanting more of the drama and less of the astronomy, it all connected in the end in a beautiful way. Better representation of the universe and life than Terrence Malick could ever do.

  13. Richard Doyle's rating of the film Mundane History

Not exactly a bad film, but one that's so slow and meditative it's nearly impossible to get a grip on.

  14. Albert Zablan's rating of the film Mundane History

Quite confounding at first, but style stood out immediately. Appreciate the fact that the director did not employ style (anachronistic order) for style's sake, instead using it to tease out the final ruminations between the 2 leads. Why are we bound to time and its fixation on sequence (past, present and future)? Fair questions raised by a nurse defined by his past education, and a invalid bound by a past accident.

  15. Alberto Redighieri's rating of the film Mundane History

it worths a few glances only the very last part of the movie, I would have appreciated if only that. Pitty.

  16. Max Seqgar's rating of the film Mundane History

The meditative style is very interesting, yet do have mixed feelings of it all... (I didn't understand... oh well, thai budhism hahah)... still was a nice trip of a movie!

  17. msmichel's rating of the film Mundane History

Over baked drivel disguised as high art.

  18. INVISIBLE Gazette 2's rating of the film Mundane History

It is a film that provides a reflection on life, not only about human beings but of any living being, it offers a reflection on the life of the stars and the process they have throughout their existence. With it we can compare the live of a star with the one of a human being, and think that we only exist for a while and there is a possibility that our existence leave some mark.

  19. alvaro03's rating of the film Mundane History

Nota: 0

  20. Sin título.'s rating of the film Mundane History
