**1/2. Forensics will save a lot of innocent people but will certainly kill Films Noir in the end. Elsa Lanchester is the one I'll remember here.
By the numbers "cops always get their man" film, and suffers from a few plot contrivances, but its introduction to forensic science is an interesting spin.
Decent B Noir. Montalban makes a surprisingly dashing, sexy hero.
Basic, but moves along nicely.
