I noticed the recurring theme of reality TV amidst all of these heartbreaking stories. Was this to juxtapose "reality" television with the viewers who are actually living reality? I'd be satisfied with a collection of stories about the darker sides of reality, sure, but I want to believe there was a deeper underlying theme. Regardless, it was captivating, dark, and real.
