A film with a lot of feasting and a little dusting down, where the whole banquet is run by a staff of waiters. How many dishes can the guests eat on one floor? An original gloomy grotesque, a Dantean allegory and a parable of the gradual, inevitable collapse of consumer society.

A skillfully directed short that scores most points for its beautiful photography and lavish production design. Though (as one user already mentioned) it is definitely silly to create such an elaborate and expensive work as a commentary on over-indulgence and excess...
Dramatic, metaphorical. Like someone filming a play. It had the cruel humor of the darkest Monty Python and the apocalyptic theatrics atmosphere of the earliest Enki Bilal. Just two words and a very simple premise become quite clear and significant. And sum up a lot about human condition. It made me think about some conclusions presented by Jared Diamond on his book Collapse. *
