The sheer volume of Franco has intimidated me from engaging much, but this is money. A master puppeteer manipulates a nymph into a labyrinth of darkness amongst a bounty of gold medallions, palm trees, fat joints, curved daggers, and breezy fabrics on bare skin. Are you in the worst Airbnb in Miami Beach, or a timeless villa in Spain?, nobody knows, and it doesn't matter.
I would put this in the top tier of Franco films - super dreamy, amazing locations, Lina looking as beautiful as ever, and some really wiggy freakout scenes. That's the beauty of Franco having made so many films - you're going to keep finding great ones if you keep watching.
