    In 1969 shortly after the expo celebrations of '67 Montreal was challenged with accusations of racism at a local university that culminated in the occupation of a ninth floor computer lab and helped create the city's protest movement with ramifications still being felt today. The rampant instilled racism evident in the university faculty was a powder keg that enflamed a generation both black and white coming of age.
