It gains and loses points trying to be even-handed. Gender politics have never been tepid, yet the rants of the misogynistic head of the Men's Liberation Organization are a candy-coated version of the vitriol seen every day. To portray feminists as frigid asexuals is playing into stereotype - what a huge misstep to suggest women would outlaw sex. So many missed opportunities here in the absence of bite or bark.
What could have been an excellent short peters out long before its conclusion despite a clever script and game performances. The film imagines a world where men are becoming extinct and women have taken control establishing world peace, dismantling of armed forces, and procreating without male participation. Sounds like a good idea to me. Tries to flirt between comedy and faux documentary but needed to be focused.
