Ratings & Reviews

  1. José Neves's rating of the film No Way Back

35mm. Rigorous in the prosaic way with which is filmed the daily life of a fascist society, and its immensely anti-individual rules, the film finds a less appealingin side in that narrative pragmatism. When the persecution to the protagonist couple begins, with its trip through Berlin's topography, the tone rises to a "noir" writing of the condemned. The final frame is a hollow space where a name echoes in void.
