  1. msmichel's rating of the film Nobody Waved Good-bye

Classic Canadian film produced by the NFB has surprisingly barely aged despite its time period. Despite the passing of time there is an universality to the story of youth questioning the responsibilities of a burgeoning adulthood. Peter may well be a poor man's 'Holden Caulfield' but Peter Kastner's performance has a near documentary feel to it that near anyone can emphasize with. Lovely to see 60's Toronto as well.

  3. Danny Bailey's rating of the film Nobody Waved Good-bye

Finally, a Canadian film that shows the mores of any town in North America, without any cheap scenic shots, and unnecessary plot changes. The acting seems "au naturel" without being overtly stale.
