Directed by Dan Geva, Noit Geva
Israel, 2012

The film creatively dramatizes the story of a documentarist who suffers from hyper-acoustic sensitivity, which makes his life in Tel Aviv, one of the noisiest urban locations on earth, a living hell.

  • El Biffo's rating of the film Noise

I can really relate to Danny Geva's problem. His house, like mine, is right against the street, and I too have jerks right under my window talking on their cell. Maddening! Geva goes mad before our eyes, and we feel his pain and hear every noise. His neighborhood, Neve Tzedek, used to be idyllic and quiet, a refuge of sanity just south of the city's center; now it's full of cafes and tourists, police and jackhammers.

People are suffering and cities are suffering because of developers building luxurious condos and interested only in $$$$. In Miami young people brought up in the city and educated in Miami must leave their families & the city for more affordable housing. the luxurious condos being built remain unoccupied most of the year because their ownershave condos in many other cities & resorts.
