What are people saying?

  • elenagallen's rating of the film Nothing

Extremely lesbic subtext floats all over this existentialist film in spite of the 30 minute cut by censorship during the spanish dictatorship. Based on the famous novel by Carmen Laforet the film set in the postwar Barcelona portraits a range of profoundly complex and akwardly familiar characters. Dark traditional and female-centric cinema at its best.
