João Eça's rating of the film Eyes Do Not Want to Close at All Times, or, Perhaps One Day Rome Will Allow Herself to Choose in Her Turn

The actors seemed to be racing each other, each trying to say the text faster than the other. "Othon" is one of the most naif films I've watched: it's the opposite of Oliveira's literary adaptations. There is no cinema here, no violence, no drama. Even the words lose their power with such bad acting, mise-en-scène and camera work.
