  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Our Children

  2. Naila's rating of the film Our Children

For some reason I just cannot get myself to sit through this movie.

  4. Bonnet Michel's rating of the film Our Children

film tragique, puissant, très bon acteurs !. ** 2016 ARTE

  5. Rahul Ray's rating of the film Our Children

A beautiful, tragic film...a film that I would want to watch again but would be scared to...

  6. Laura Hitchman's rating of the film Our Children

"With Christmas just around the corner..." 'tis the season to despair. Good but oh-so-bleak.

  7. benedict's rating of the film Our Children

Harrowing. Feels similar in tone to a Haneke film, particularly in the domestic violence themes. Leads up with well done power struggles and sense of impending doom to an absolutely killer ending. Not a film I would suggest to anyone (for fear of being seen as a sociopath) but worth watching. Puts me off having kids

  8. Huw Morgan's rating of the film Our Children

  9. Superfrog's rating of the film Our Children

Somewhat shallow in describing the characters, unimaginative in dialogue. Should have been a short of the end scequence, which is the one good bit of good cinema in there.

  10. raggiodisole's rating of the film Our Children

see this more as a drama about men blatantly ignoring a descent into depression. Hard to watch.

  11. Paul Relf's rating of the film Our Children

  12. Myriam Raja's rating of the film Our Children

I decided to dive into the film not knowing anything about the story or subject matter. A worthwhile watch; great performances from the entire cast and overall a good film that sensitively observes the complexities of relationships and a very strange situation.

  13. Rob Horsfall's rating of the film Our Children

Somewhat predictable but good in parts.

  14. katiestgeorge@gmail.com's rating of the film Our Children

  15. Christopher W's rating of the film Our Children

A very sad if predictable ending . Do mixed marriages really work especially against a background of "sham" marriages performed to gain a "Right to Remain"? There seemed to be an underlying theme of the Islamic demeaning of women into mere beast of burden. The actor playing Dr Pinget I remember from his performance as the criminal boss in "The Prophet" .I remember the incredible fact that Brussels is now 40% Muslim.

  16. Franczeska Gniadkowski's rating of the film Our Children

  17. jlesage's rating of the film Our Children

This is an amazing film but NOT a 'family film'. If any kids watch this they will probably be traumatised for life! It's a harrowing watch, based on a true story. It has the intensity of a Greek tragedy within a modern domestic setting where the combination of 'fatal flaws' is lethal. Direction, acting, script superb.

  18. Carlos Filipe Freitas's rating of the film Our Children

The performances were simply superb, while Lafosse showed to be a filmmaker with exceptional maturity. Review and Rating: http://alwayswatchgoodmovies.blogspot.com/2013/08/our-children-2012.html

  19. Paola's rating of the film Our Children

Que gran actuación de Emilie Dequenne, bravo por la secuencia final.

  20. Nur Gülşen's rating of the film Our Children

Emilie Dequennes's performance reminded me Gena Rowlands in ''a woman under the influnce''.

  21. Mohamad Sobhy's rating of the film Our Children

  22. novanindro's rating of the film Our Children

  23. Matt Richards's rating of the film Our Children

Intelligent writing, well formed characters and mature execution all add considerable weight to this uneasy and topical study of infanticide within a complex family unit. It's wonderful to see Arestrup and Rahir back together again in vastly different roles to Un Prophete. Some of the Moroccan actors are a little less convincing but this is well worth a watch. Recommended 4 stars
