  1. In Prague's rating of the film Pan

Grafts Pan's legend, the only god who dies, onto the Romantics' furcula of nature vs. culture, the latter in its unappeased suspicion to all that spills beyond the shaping word of God & thus acculturation. The film feels quasi-thermostatic: when hurt, Pan's angry 'panic' shouts are censored, the roars are relegated to fauna in tropical Arcadia where he flees. The twilight's silent in you like someone on their knees..
