Our take

David Fincher’s sharkskin-sleek style was honed by his love for the sly, inventive techniques of genre films. This is Fincher at his most pure: a relentless thriller of limited space and nightclad claustrophobia that would make Polanski proud. Starring Jodie Foster and a very young Kristen Stewart.
