What are people saying?

  • El Biffo's rating of the film Paradise Alley

An odd little picture based on the premise of shooting a movie without any film in the camera, as a social experiment. One gets the feeling that this whole film is an experiment, too. Something about it just feels off. Margaret Hamilton has a supporting role and does all the facial expressions and gestures she is famous for, even pointing her bony finger accusingly in one scene that recalls "I'll get you my pretty!"
