Ratings & Reviews

  1. José Neves's rating of the film Paria

The start is very clear of its intentions: an exhibition vehicle of a wanted performative energy about the excluded. Unfortunately the initial unnerving sensation is quite confirmed in the course of the film. A camera always, always, on top of characters, an indeterminate confusion of spaces and figures, with a tricky use of Brad Mehldau's piano as an artistic counterpoint to the filmed "malaise". Unendurable.

  2. Kevin Varin's rating of the film Paria

Beau et pudique, puissant et sensoriel.

  3. Flavien's rating of the film Paria

The scene with "Couleur menthe à l'eau" by Eddy Mitchell is simply wonderful.
