Our take

The Olympic Games offers a city the promise of renewal, a chance for regeneration. Ten year after the Athens Olympics, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Using a cast of mostly nonprofessional actors shot on a handheld camera, Sofia Exarchou’s debut is a visceral portrait of lost Greek youth.
