Synopsis

Assimilating the experience of sound cinema, Tsekhanovsky wanted avoid a purely mechanical combination of sound and picture. He dreamed of the variety of artistic relationships between sound and visual images. So his experimental designs best meet the symphonic poem Pacific 231 by Arthur Honegger.
