  • the_mentaculus's rating of the film Peace Hotel

Many of these HK action films vary wildly between awesome and horrible, and this film is no different. (The gun scenes are among the best in the genre, while the sword-battling is ridiculously bad.) The score sounds strangely like a Sega Genesis variation of the Godfather theme. But at the same time, the film features a montage of Chow Yun-Fat slapping "the Mistress", so you have to give it points for audacity.
