I watched this late one night in & out of a hypnagogic sleep state. Somehow it has imprinted itself in me and I have watched it twice more within the week. With only two minutes of dialog, the film is as much intimate mood piece as it is mystery narrative. Half the film is its star Gonzalo Valenzuela - amazing. And oh the music. Bellott is on my radar. Hope for this on DVD/Blu ray as well as the soundtrack.
I had to watch it twice before I saw that there was more here than meets the eye at first glance. The attention to the details of the main character's day at a rural motel may seem puzzling, but if you don't know the meaning of "perfidy" at the start of the film, you will understand it by the end.
