Ratings & Reviews

  1. El Biffo's rating of the film Peter Pan

Silent Cinema captures Fantasy so much better than a cartoon possibly can. Those who reject gender norms will love the androgynous "Peter", of course played by a female actor (as is traditional)and referred to as a "boy", but clearly very androgynous, and the romantic tension between Peter and Wendy creates a queer love thang which certainly isn't in the cartoon. In the screenshot, Peter blows faerie dust onto Wendy.

  2. CarlosEsquives's rating of the film Peter Pan

"Peter Pan" inicia con un mensaje y seguido un perro de peluche jugueteando. Es lo mejor de la película pues con ello captura ese espíritu infantil y lúdico que pretende impartir. Ya después las cosas se despegan de esa intención inicial. De por sí la historia del niño asesinando piratas (además de esa huella hostil de su tribu) no es del toda infantil. Lo otro; la actriz y esos juegos que trasfiguran lésbicos.

  3. Amadeus Magnus's rating of the film Peter Pan

Peter Pan played by a girl as usual. and the last words made me laugh: "And so it will go on as long as children are gay and innocent and heartless." I know gay means cheerful but it's still funny.

  4. mauries's rating of the film Peter Pan

If there's a dog that ever deserved an Oscar, it's Nana

  5. Johnny DuBiel's rating of the film Peter Pan

A real find! Visually interesting, and the subtext is quite intriguing. Absolutely captures the spirit of the play... The best adaptation of it so far
