Another terrible one. Highly intrusive soundtrack, and such uninteresting stock footage to begin with; not that Morrison's manipulations added anything either. I'm not a fan of Morrison, but it is a shame that the Blu-ray release didn't include about the only interesting film he made and I liked (Nemo).
Using the operatic score with this stock footage Morrison clearly aims to elevate the home video to mythic qualities. He doesn't entirely fail, but the stock footage is so ingrained in the domestic that it feels trivial. Put this down as one of Morrison's minor works, though there is something undeniably haunting at gleaming the ghosts of someone's long-forgotten memories.
