The best part of "Porto" is Anton Yelchin's performance, he does so much with so little! Unfortunately everything else is a mess; the plot isn't really believable, the structure is convoluted and the editing very poor. The dialogue is also subpar and the city of Porto isn't that heavily featured. Seems like a case of good ideas poorly executed.
The characters are believable but sometimes their relationship is not. The structure feels very conventional and some plans seem very forced and staged. A few loose ends to tie up... Also, I would have liked if the approach to the city had gone further.
