    Very beautiful and abstract.

  3. msmichel's rating of the film Primate Cinema: Apes as Family

Bizarre blend of anthropological study, documentary and what seems to be black comedy that results in a strange but fascinating watch. Short film from Rachel Mayeri that promises a future with interest. Well worth a quick watch.

  4. El Biffo's rating of the film Primate Cinema: Apes as Family

This is so weird, I can't begin to make sense of it, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I would very much like to hear other people's comments on this!

  6. meiere01's rating of the film Primate Cinema: Apes as Family

This was a perfect lead in to Project Nim. I would love to hear more about this project and how it come to be.

  7. Timbo of Boston's rating of the film Primate Cinema: Apes as Family

Fascinating, even though I'm not sure what I just saw. Needs multiple viewings, but a wild and wonderful experiment in image association, and allay acting. Any intended narrative is pretty abstract. It's like a Charlie Kaufman film with a Herzog/Bunuel pseudo documentary narration.
