Ratings & Reviews

  1. Slappy McGee's rating of the film Project A2

Ugh. Some of the worst DUBBING I have ever heard. Truly awful. Combinations of bad cockney, upper class English, Australian and broken-Chinese English. Oh man. Bad story and script. INCREDIBLE fights as always. A staple of any of Chan's work. He sings a song on the soundtrack (stay tuned for the music video after the movie). Always love the bloopers at the end. This one is highly skippable.

  2. Honeychurch's rating of the film Project A2

one star for MUBI giving a lame dubbed version. subtitles or nothing, please.

  3. SlinkyLi's rating of the film Project A2

Ambitious creativity throughout, including some brutal bumps, extended physical comedy bits, and dubious costumes among good dose of stellar kung fu and stunt scenes.

  4. Zesty Enterprise's rating of the film Project A2

The danger involved with many of the action scenes is what makes this movie stunning and keeps you at the end of your seat. The handcuff scenes are hilarious and executed with finesse. There's more action and less comedy in A2 compared to the previous movie, but I think Project A and Project A2 should really be watched together at the same time for full enjoyment.

  5. Kai White's rating of the film Project A2

Individual scenes are better here than the first one, and Maggie Cheung's presence is always welcome. However, the story, which wasn't the first part's strength by any measure, is almost impossible to follow. Pirates, police corruption, revolutionaries, stolen diamonds, and a book that spies for the empress want highlight what I could get out of it.
