  • dionysus67's rating of the film Puzzle

If only Smirnoff had taken the trouble to meditate the interior journey towards the character's ownership of her life and being with outdoor shots, like the one in the finale, then she would have really engaged with the film's puzzle-solving activity, conveniently reserved for the final 'completion'. Sure, it is acted with gentleness and committment by Onetto, but cinematographically it is too pale for its own good.

  • jb666's rating of the film Puzzle

The way María Onetto knit her character was academic. Very professional. Insistence on close up shots with a moving camera in the family house blurred the development of other characters but magnified the lead. Plot is nonstandard; traditional family values are at stake. As your compassion builds up towards the end for the lead character, ending bluntly suggests there is no need for it, however unknown the future is.

  • nica's rating of the film Puzzle

I am annoyed that I didn’t know Puzzle 2018 was a remake! While it was bad on its own, I still gave it some credit. Now it’s just a plain bad remake to me. THIS is how you do this film. Characters felt organic and three dimensional, and the film nicely explores gray areas. Unlike the remake, it didn’t go to extremes about, say, how the protagonist is treated, her marriage, puzzle partner. It is honest and hopeful.

  • Sin título.'s rating of the film Puzzle

  • Venus Rey Jr's rating of the film Puzzle

  • neilstrauss23's rating of the film Puzzle

Exceptional film, secrets that never been told but enjoying its benefits. Never is too late for us to enjoy the things we havent done when we were young.

  • lizeth22aq's rating of the film Puzzle

  • Mario C.'s rating of the film Puzzle

Simple but coherent film about a woman who tries to free herself from the monotony of a role through play and sexuality. The dry style makes us understand without frills what the protagonist wants and what she is moved by. Maybe the ending is a little hasty.
