Ratings & Reviews

  1. @frassivan's rating of the film Queers

Great challenge and surprising results for the actors involved in these splendid monologues that tell from a subjective point of view last century complicated path of gay emancipation in the Western world.

  2. S.J.B.'s rating of the film Queers

Few of these worked as well as the concept would promise; Ben Whishaw's tear-jerking monologue, Fionn Whitehead's shy revelation(s), and Rebecca Front's playful yet quietly painful tale are the home runs. I appreciate the purpose and construction of the series, with its LGBTQ creator, writers, and cast, but that's not enough to commend it—not these days, anyways.
