  1. Diego Ravazzolo's rating of the film Rabies

  2. msmichel's rating of the film Rabies

Marketed as the first Israeli horror film 'Rabies' offers rewards that the average slasher film does not. First off the slasher is a minor character its human nature who is the real villain here as the self involvement of the characters winds up being their downfall. Sure it sprints by believable fairly early but is an enjoyable and surprising watch throughout.

  3. Palmat's rating of the film Rabies

Talk about a bad day in the woods! This movie started out pretty pedestrian but when the shit hits the fan the craziness is off the charts. Sure, the plot is very contrived but I enjoyed seeing everything go south for the characters involved. The absurd blend between humour and gory violence is handled well.

  4. MATTEO BITTANTI's rating of the film Rabies

I watched it right after Big Bad Wolves. The two movies share several narrative, iconographic, and stylistic features, deadpan humor, absurd phone conversations, mcguffins, truly despicable characters, inept, vicious and corrupt cops, fairy tale themes and loci, atypical pace (were typical = Hollywood). Keshales, Papushado are obviously very talented, but they need a breakthrough act.

  5. Heidi Anderson's rating of the film Rabies

Good acting and very personal deaths but extremely contrived plot.

  6. Dinch's rating of the film Rabies

A pleasant surprise. A slasher film with a mordant, innovative wit worthy of the best of the Coen Brothers.

  7. Fırat Ataç's rating of the film Rabies

Original backwoods black comedy horror minor gem.

  8. Madri's rating of the film Rabies

  9. oldeuboi's rating of the film Rabies

It started out just like your typical slasher. Surprisingly, it goes to different direction. A good ones. Alas, the overall plot feel so contrived.

  10. Angga Caesar's rating of the film Rabies

  11. suddenmoves's rating of the film Rabies

Uh, there's just way too much going on here! A lot of it is very confused and confusing, and though there are some interesting ideas, the all-too-painful irony of its multiple endings is just very crass.

  12. Marco Tassinari's rating of the film Rabies
